My sister-in-law, Jamie, just loaned me the first two Twilight series books on Saturday. I'm already over halfway through the first one, and it's Monday morning. I didn't think it would happen to me, but I had to find out what everyone was talking about, and now I'm hooked. So if you don't hear from me in a while, that's why.
In the meantime, I thought I'd share a picture of my sad backyard. The grass is completely dead. We've tried to bring it back to life, but it's too far gone. It will have to be replaced, but unfortunately that's kinda far down on my long list of things to do around here. Hopefully by the spring, though. The tiny tree in the corner, and some pretty flowering bushes (not in the picture) are the only survivors of this neglected foreclosed yard. I want to put some plam trees in it. Maybe I'll post an after picture, next year, when it's looking better.

Owen loves to see himself on the blog, so here's another picture of him. He's in his new football pajamas, which he wants to wear everywhere. And he's brushing his teeth, which he is very good at.

I love the Twilight series as well. I checked them out from the library and read them to see what all the fuss was about and now I'm hooked. Good luck with the landscaping. Christopher LOVES yard work (believe it or not) so if you guys need help, I can send him down. ;-)
Hey I love them too! Jason get sick of me reading them because I can't put it down until I am finished. One day we went to the mall and he wanted to go into the book store. I was not interested in looking at other books so I picked up breaking dawn (was on the last chapter) and finished reading it in the store.
Have fun with Twilight!
At least you have a yard! I'm sure you'll have it beautiful in no time.
I know it is so addicting! I love Palm trees! you are so lucky you live where you can have them in your yard! Don't worry I know how you feel...We have lived in our house for almost 2yrs now and the yard is still a work in progress.
Fall is a great time to start a lawn from seed....and a seeded lawn is much tougher than a sod lawn. I think you can just rake some of the dead stuff out, put some fresh soil on top of the rest, and seed it. It's way cheaper than sod too. Anyways. haha :)
I was actually thinking of trying seed. I think the only trouble would be to keep Owen from riding his little bike on it!
I too love the series. I was so addicted to Twilight that I carried it around with me every where and at school. I carried it around so much that the cover is coming off even after all the tape I put on it :D
That would one thing I missed if I moved away from Utah. The green grass.
Sorry I meant that would be one the is would miss if I moved. oops :)
