If you have never been to a Murder Mystery Dinner Party, you need to get together with a group of friends and do it! It is so much fun. This is the second one that our friends Heidi and Paul Nielsen have hosted with us. The first was cowboy themed and they even had it set up in their grandpa's barn! This one was Mardi Gras, and they did such a great job to make it look like a party! Nick was Cayenne Pepper, an aspiring chef, and I was Elise St. Gresch, a live-in maid. We did our best to dress the parts, as well.
Half way through it, there was a huge thunder and lightening storm passing through, and the rain just pounded down. Since we were on a covered patio, it got so loud we had to stop trying to talk and wait it out. It made for a fun ambiance. We had a great time!
