We found a fun little family carnival at a park last Saturday.  They had little carnival games for a penny each.  After each game the kids were given a ticket. After collecting tickets, they could redeem them for little toys and knick knacks just like at Chuck E. Cheese!

There were lots of fun things for kids, even a few bounce houses.  Teslyn didn't mind being pushed around by Owen when she was protected by this thing!

The food was a great deal too.  Snow cones for only a quarter!!

It was a happy day!  We are glad we decided to check this out.

That night while Nick and I was watching the news, we saw this little segment about the carnival.  (It's so great to be in a small town where things like this make the news!)  We were so surprised and thought it was pretty hilarious when we saw ourselves!  We are the bystanders in the background for the first little bit.  It was after Owen and Teslyn got out of their big tubes, and I was trying to convince Nick to do it with me.  Then watch when there is a man talking to the camera, Nick in the red shirt goes walking behind him.  He was on his way back from getting more pennies from the car.  Anyway, the news made us feel pretty special that night.  If we would have known about the camera, we would have hung around it a bit more! ;)
